Luke Harris – Managing Director
Luke left school and moved to south of Spain for 10 years, training and qualified as an Air Conditioning engineer. Upon his return to the UK in 2008, he joined Airway as Service Manager and since December 2020 is now Managing Director. Likes: Sports, cooking and walking his dogs. Dislikes: Queuing and Service Stations.
Amy Steele - Associate Director
Starting her career as Maintenance Administrator 6 years ago with little knowledge of A/C, Amy now oversees the smooth operation of our Service and Maintenance teams. Amy provides support to ensure the best customer experience on our larger contracts within AC, Mechanical and Electrical. Likes: Beer and Live Music. Dislikes: Cucumber
Bradley Watkins – Director of Heat pumps and Air purification
After living in Spain for 10 years, Bradley started at Airway in 2012 as an apprentice. In 2016, Bradley went from Operations Manager to Operations Director. Bradley now looks after the Air Purification and Air to water Heat Pumps arms of the business. Likes: Rugby, Full English breakfasts, insults and sarcasm, Sunsets and beaches. Dislikes: Phobia of earwigs and Reality TV “celebrities”.
Philip Tyte - Technical Director
Philip started at Airway in May 1993 as an apprentice. He worked in the installation, maintenance service departments for several years and then became a director/shareholder in 2004 and Technical Director in 2008. Philip’s current day to day role is within Airway Heat pumps. Likes: Live music, a good 'dad' joke, a mug of tea and a ginger biscuit. Dislikes: Stepping on an upturned plug, someone kicking the back of your seat in the cinema and green bananas.
Richard Thompson – Mechanical Director
Richard is a Director of the business and proud to be heading up the Mechanical and Electric divisions. He enjoys work and is passionate about delivering a good service and that’s important in this industry. Likes: All things Automotive! Motorcycle riding but also likes to chill in the garden with his best friends – his dogs! Dislikes: Dishonesty and Bullish behaviour! - Be kind to people on the way up… you might need them on your way back down!
Lee Carter - Design and Sales Engineer
After leaving school, Lee started his working life as a Marine Engineering Mechanic in the Royal Navy. Upon finishing service in the Navy, he took the route to refrigeration and air conditioning, being a service engineer for around 15 years before progressing to a sales and design engineer for the past 20 years. Likes: Most sports but especially motorcycle racing. Dislikes: Winter.
Julian Young - Design and Sales Engineer
Julian had a brief encounter with professional football, before going into retail and then sales. Julian then found his calling at Airway nearly 30 years ago. Likes: A good pint and holidays abroad. Dislikes: Liver and disappointing ends to movies/series.
Charlotte Gregory - Sales Administrator
From working in a pub to car insurance, Charlotte joined the world of A/C in 2023. Since becoming a part of the team, Charlotte ensures the sales department are kept in ship shape as well as looking after Airway’s social media accounts! Likes: Concerts, warm summer evenings and her cats. Dislikes: Baked beans and not having her nails done.
Steve Carter - Electrical Manager
Steve started off as an apprentice to an Industrial commercial business 26 years ago and has been in the industry ever since! Likes: The great outdoors, fitness and combat sports. Dislikes: Treading in dog poo.
Ricky Dacey – Install Contracts Manager
Ricky started as an adult trainee in A/C and vent install in 2010. He then progressed to install supervisor, then M & E site manger across numerous commercial contracts. He is now into his second year at Airway Group! Likes: LFC and House music all life long. Dislikes: Lack of manners.
Stephen Archbold - Health and Safety Manager
Stephen started off as a power plant operator and progressed through the ranks to become a Chartered Member of IOSH. Creating a safer work environment, to ensure everyone goes home safe and in good health. Likes: Dog Walking, cycling and a bit of golf. Dislikes: Black sambuca and snakes.
Olivia Lewis – HR
Olivia has been involved in HR since 2022. An insight into her primary activities include, recruitment, admin, and employee relations. Likes: Cats. Dislikes: Garlic.
Becky Reece – Helpdesk Manager
Becky has been in FM/Building Services for 18 years mainly running an M&E Helpdesk. Joining Airway in August 4.5 years ago was quite the baptism of fire, as an AC Helpdesk is a completely different kettle of fish. Likes: My children and cats. Dislikes: Having her picture taken and Arsenal.
Clare Grain – Finance Manager
Clare has worked for Airway Group for over 5 years, Within that time and with support and encouragement from the company, she is now a fully qualified bookkeeper and looks after all the accounting functions for all the companies within the group. Likes: Dogs and theme parks. Dislikes: Slasher films and kidney beans.
Amy Johnstone – Maintenance Admin
Amy is responsible for looking after PPM clients, providing great customer service, amongst other tasks within her role. Likes: Travelling and mullets. Dislikes: Spiders.
